LiveStreaming Guidance for Venues
Welcome to LiveVibes!
These are step-by-step instructions for Venues on how to livestream their
events.
1. Create or Login to Your Venue Account
- Sign up as a Venue and create your profile by filling in all the relevant details in the sign-up form.
- You can update, modify or delete your venue account after signing up by clicking Manage Profile in the top right corner of the webpage.
2. Create an Event
- Once logged in, go to Manage Events → Create New Event.
- Fill in the form by providing details such as the description, date and time, performing artist, and price for the online event.
- You can create more than one event. Each event automatically generates its own private streaming channel.
3. Go Live
To broadcast your event live, go to Manage Events, open your event page, and click Go Live.
You have two ways to stream:
Option 1: Recommended (Professional Quality) Go Live via an External Streaming App (OBS, StreamYard, Restream, etc.)
This option offers advanced control such as overlays, multiple cameras, external audio interfaces, and higher broadcast stability
Step 1: Turn On Your Channel
- Each Event has its own dedicated channel.
- Click on Turn On before starting your broadcast (takes up to 1 minute).
- Keep your channel turned on during the livestream.
- Turning off your channel will immediately interrupt the livestream.
Step 2: Copy Your Streaming Details
- Click on Go Live With External Streaming App.
- Select your external streaming app (RTMP encoder/broadcaster). For example: OBS Studio, which is a free streaming service.
- Copy the following:
Server URL (RTMP URL)
Stream Key
- Keep your Stream Key private (it works like a password).
- A new Stream Key is generated for every event — make sure it is updated before every broadcast.
Step 3: Configure Your External Streaming App (Example: OBS Studio (Free))
- Download OBS Studio → obsproject.com.
- Open OBS → Settings → Stream.
- Choose Custom Streaming Server.
- Paste your:
Server URL
Stream Key - In Sources, select your video and audio sources.
- Check the quality of the audio (avoid clipping or distortion).
- Click Start Streaming.
Step 4: End the Stream
- When your event ends, click Stop Streaming in your external streaming app.
- Then return to LiveVibes and click TURN OFF to deactivate your channel.
Option 2: Direct (Simpler, Built-In Option) Go Live Directly with WP Stream
This option uses your computer’s webcam and audio directly — no software required.
Â
- Click on Go Live With Your Webcam.
- Choose your camera and audio input (e.g., built-in webcam, or USB
interface). - Click Start Broadcast.
- When the Event ends, click Stop Broadcast
- For best performance, use a stable wired connection (at least 10 Mbps upload speed). Wireless or weak internet may cause lag or reduced quality.
4. Checklist Before You Go Live
- Turn on your event channel 30 minutes before the start of the Event. Do not turn the channel back off before the end of the event.
- Verify that the Stream Key matches the event you are broadcasting. (Keep your Stream Key private.)
- Always test your stream before the event. You can test the User’s experience by clicking on Test Live Stream in your Event channel on
LiveVibes. - Never close your browser tab during a broadcast.
- In case of a poor or unstable internet connection, consider lowering the video settings for your broadcast on your external streaming app
